In last night’s episode of “Buzz’s Bedtime Stories,” I talked about how I was selected to carry the “nuclear football.” Tonight, we talk about what kinda guy @BillClinton is. Start a fire, cuddle up, and brew some tea. As I commented earlier, I didn’t apply for the White House position, they found me. I met President Clinton the morning after I was hired…in the White House, in the Oval Office. For a young Air Force Major, not intimidating at all. 🤣 My very first impression, no kidding, was how big his head was. “That’s a huge melon,” I remember thinking. Big man, big head. As the military aide, I quickly learned that you live in the WH and you go everywhere and do everything that POTUS does (well not everything. I knew Monica, for example, but not in the way that Bill “knows” her). That was immediately evident and the Secret Service guys/girls were my personal sanity. My personal time with Bill was cool. We jogged in the morning, we went to the golf course in the afternoon, we did his official shit. He’d ask me questions about college football, our military, whatever. When we he was just being “Bill,” he was funny, gregarious, affable, but you knew he had no moral fiber to his being. None. When he was “presidential,” he could be terse. I never pissed him off but I always knew it was right there. Overall, gregarious dude who I tolerated. But funny. I walked in on him and Monica once in the Oval. Tomorrow? Hillary.
